Monday: Boise State University is an unlikely school to have one of the top football programs in America, but  they do. In fact the Broncos, ranked #9 nationally, are playing Texas Christian University in this year's Poinsettia Bowl in San DIego. Boise State President Dr. Bob Kustra joins Rick to talk about the BCS, the Poinsettia Bowl and life on campus in Boise, Idaho.

Also: On the crime beat this past week, we learned that three El Cajon teens are accused of kidnapping and beating a 75 year old woman, and the son of  former California State Assembly Speaker Fabian Nunez is accused of murder in San Diego.  Famed criminal defense attorney Kerry Armstrong joins us to discuss both cases.

Thursday: The holiday season can be stressful... and stresses can cause domestic violence to erupt. Rick talks with YWCA CEO Casey Gwinn about the warning signs, prevention, and getting help.

Guest host Gayle Falkenthal talks to experts about the American automakers bailout. Is it a vitally needed move to save an industry at the heart of our economy, or a bad investment in failing companies?
