CNN, the self-proclaimed most trusted name in news?
Despite the monumental grass roots movement across America, If one were to do a google search of the words 'CNN, Tea Party' ...or...'MSNBC Tea Party'...it would return only TWO results.
It will be fascinating to see what sort of coverage the anti-Tea Party groups receive on April 11 and 15 by MSLSD and CNN.
What many in the lamestream media and on the left fail to understand is that the Tea Party phenomenon is not an anti-Obama movement, as they believe.
Instead, It is citizen activism by everyday, play-by-the rules people who have nowhere else to turn since republican politicians have failed and abandoned them...and democratic leaders (with the growing exception of moderates) are in lock step with the higher tax and bigger government philosophy.
This is not unlike the Minuteman movement of 2 1/2 years. Citizens feeling failed by the gov't on border issue took matters into their own hands. They were demonized called lunatics, rednecks and extremists (led by the howls of President Bush). Today the US- MX border ranks 3rd on the list of national security threats only behind Af-Pak and ahead of Iraq.
Is it any wonder the republican party lacks a leader? It's my hope that the republican party is not just listening, but more critically, learning.
I look forward to seeing many of you on Saturday.
