San Diego, CA- The Rick Amato Show Presented by The Washington Times announced today that it will dedicate one show each month to raising awareness and money for severely wounded veterans causes.
As Rick Amato recently wrote in The Washington Times,
"A tremendously important story has gone virtually untold by the media,
ignored by our political leaders and unknown to the American public...America's
severely wounded veterans are enduring humiliating financial hardships
of epic proportions. Home evictions, utility shutoffs, car
repossessions and foreclosures are commonplace.
Spouses have to give up their jobs to become caregivers, cutting family
incomes by up to 50 percent or more. Most disabled vets receive much
less in compensation and benefits than they did while on active duty,
reducing incomes even further".
Tonight's show features Tom Palma, Executive Director of The Coalition To Salute America's Heroes
which has paid out over $25 million in the past three years to severely
wounded vets. The Coalition also has never turned away one qualifying
vet.
Also joining the program this evening will be several
entertainers from Country & Western music who have donated their
time and talents to help raise money for vets.
The Rick Amato Show is broadcast from The AmericanBullion.com Solid Gold Studios.
