Kudos are in order for Barry Willis organizer of the East County TEA
Party for having the ingenuity and vision to make a San Diego County
Sheriff candidate debate as part of their next event.
While endorsing no candidates and remaining non-partisan the East
County TEA Party is evolving to the next level, one which many people
feel is a natural fit for TEA Parties:
-Getting local candidates out of their ivory towers and bringing them in front of the people through Candidate Forums-
Interestingly just last week John Solomon- Managing Editor of The
Washington Times- while on my show said, "It will be interesting to see
what the next step for the TEA Parties are. They have demonstrated they
are for real and have staying power. But now it will be interesting to
see what comes out of all this impassioned energy through new
candidates and legislation".
...Separately, if you heard my show Tuesday night...then you heard
Amanda Carpenter of The O'Reilly Factor say that there is speculation
that the National TEA Party just might be in Sara Palin's future.
"She needs a group to align herself with and they need a national spokesperson", Amanda commented.
Kudos are also in order for candidates Bruce Ruff and Jay La Suer for being the first to accept our debate invitation.
In the true spirit of grass roots activism La Suer and Ruff will bare
themselves to the people in asking for their vote at the next TEA
Party. Thanks in large part to Barry Willis.
PS- Changing topics entirely the most recent joke by Letterman stating
that 'Sara Palin has stepped down as Alaskan governor to become the
next Octo-mom' I feel is horrible on so many levels. I also wonder how
his sponsors and the pro-feminine groups feel about his joke? I will be
contacting them for their response in my upcoming article at BIG
HOLLYWOOD.
